  Managing Projects and Managing Myself Becoming one of project managers for this class has been a very interesting experience for me so far. I truly didn’t know what kind of job I signed up. Now, I’ve realized that I have become a person for my classmates to run to whenever they need support and encouragement, I’ve had other students message me for help and guidance - being able to assist my classmates in a way that is caring and useful has been extremely rewarding. It truly pushes me to want to be more attentive towards my classmates and our assignments to ensure that their experience in this class is the best it can be. Project 2 was significantly less stressful than the first one. The first presentations we were assigned for this class felt like we were all scrambling like mice to get the projects ready and organized in time. Reflection on Working with My Group: Modern Education and Its Setbacks Kevin Santiago Working with my group for the second time on the topic "Modern Education and Its Setbacks" has been a valuable and insightful experience. Not only did it provide an opportunity to further develop my collaboration and communication skills, but it also deepened my understanding of the complex relationship between education, government, and families in today’s society.   How Group Presentations Improved My Communication Skills 11 June, 2025 By Manuela Buitrago I recently took part in a group presentation. It was a class project and it turned out, a wonderful learning exercise . Each of us in our group was assigned a different section to address. My section had to do with modern education, and   its setbacks . I didn’t know at first what to say, but as I worked on it I learned a lot of things , not only about educating people, but about team work, speaking in front of people, and organizing what I wanted to say.  This was our second presentation .  Happiness Presentation: What It Meant for Me Introduction The presentation this post is about was due just a few days after the one before, forcing us to focus and have the slides, research, and speaking notes ready in very little time. Taking this course during a six‑week mini‑term turned out to be perfect training for the sort of whirlwind month I might one day face at work. 👀 My Take on the Group Presentations – Round 2 We just wrapped up our second round of group presentations, and once again, I came away impressed. Everyone brought something unique to the table. Even though the topics were different—ranging from jobs and the economy to family, education, and mental health—they were all connected by a common thread: how these things affect our lives and future.
